back in college we didn't really have enough time to learn JavaScript with structure and more depth since remote sync / async class setups were a new thing and most syllabi were condensed. what we did mostly was dissect existing small handmade JavaScript projects.

i once saw a tweet saying our college batch was really the last chopper before AI arrived and removed the friction from learning
